Katherine CarverDirector of Events and Communications
Katherine Carver is the Director of Events and Communications for the Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association (LADA). Katherine oversees the planning and direction of LADA’s communications strategies, events and programming, fundraising, and marketing. She assists the President and CEO in maintaining operational stability and efficiency, while advocating for the state’s new automobile and heavy truck dealerships.
Before joining LADA, Katherine served in various marketing roles with the Associated Builders & Contractors Pelican Chapter and EXCEL Group where she built her career as a strategic communications professional with skills in event planning, public affairs, finance management and client relations. Katherine currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Society of Association Executives, where she has been an active member since 2021. She is an active member of St. Jude the Apostle Church parish in Baton Rouge, where she serves as the chairperson of the Coffee and Donuts ministry (lovingly known as the "Donut Lady" by church families). A native of Lafayette, Katherine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a major in Public Relations and minor in Business from Louisiana State University. Katherine and her husband Taylor love spending time outdoors with their three children and their black lab, Bella. In her spare time, you will find Katherine enjoying a glass of wine and a good book. |
