Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association's
2010 Dealer of the Year
Adrian, a native of Baton Rouge and graduate of LSU, has worked full-time in the automotive industry for over 42 years, starting his career as a collector for Ford Credit. As the economy started to boom in the 1970's, he rose in the ranks to Dealer Account Manager. Unwilling to take a transfer with Ford, Adrian began a new business, Express Leasing, Inc., a wholesale leasing business, with partner Stanley Richards.
In 1986, Adrian became the dealer for Nelson & East Ford in Zachary, and later founded Superior Ford, where he has been the dealer for over 24 years. In 1988, James Bouanchaud and Adrian co-founded Supreme Chevrolet in Gonzales.
Adrian is involved in and has held leadership positions in many dealer organizations including LADA, NADA, Baton Rouge New Car Dealers Association, Southern Quality Ford Dealers Board of Directors, and the national Ford Dealer Council. He has received numerous awards, including the Outstanding Achievement Award for Service and Blue Oval Certified dealer. After 20 years of service, Adrian retired from the Louisiana Air National Guard with a rank of Command Master Chief Sergeant.
He and his wife, Lettye, have one daughter, Leslie, and one granddaughter.
