1989 Dealer of the Year

Beginning his automotive career in 1950 as sales manager for Lockport Sales and Service, Don became president and a dealer in 1967. Marketing Ford-Lincoln-Mercury products, Don has been a four-time recipient of Ford's Distinguished Service Citation.

An LADA Past President, Don spearheaded LADA's Self-Insurers' Fund for Workers' Compensation in 1981, indisputably one of LADA's most successful programs, and has served as its chairman. He also served on numerous LADA committees, including chairing its Legislative Committee.

As LADA's 1989 "Dealer of the Year," Don automatically became LADA's nominee for the TIME Magazine Quality Dealer Award.
